Crate & Barrel
As a retailer that sends emails daily (and often more than one per day), Crate and Barrel struggled to break through the crowded inbox and engage subscribers without brand fatigue.

To address this challenge we shifted the approach from deeply promotional to distinctly personable. We evolved heavily promotional emails to find the right balance between storytelling, product features, and promotional calls-to-action. This was facilitated by robust email and content calendars, redesigned templates and constantly optimized by testing and learning. Explore Case Study →

Schumacher Homes
Schumacher Homes is one of the country’s largest custom home builders. After a thorough audit of their existing program, we found that sales reps had no way of prioritizing leads and that all prospects were treated as equal. While lead-nurturing emails were being sent, the content was not customized based on where shoppers were in their home-buying journey.

We built a new lead scoring system to properly assign more valuable leads to sales reps, and less valuable leads to the email program. We then created new streams of emails based on high or low engagement activity by using the lead score. We armed their sales team with redesigned email templates they could quickly activate based on where the customer was in the journey. The new templates were based on a larger rebranding initiative that we also led.

reimagine the Lands’ End email creative. This began with
rethinking layouts, photography, and the use of typography 
and color, and more. We then applied this thinking to the brand’s marketing for its extremely busy holiday season. Though our creative is now several years old, much 
of our work still influences what the brand does in
