It’s here! Drexler, along with our good friend Neal Shaffer, has been working on and planning the launch of Confirmed Stock for months. Today, we’re giving you a sneak peek of a new landing page and introductory video for Confirmed Stock.

What is Confirmed Stock, you ask? To quote ourselves, “Confirmed Stock is a pop-up retail concept set to debut in Baltimore, MD in the spring of 2012. Our mission is to present an expertly curated and gentlemanly selection of menswear, vintage, and dry goods largely unavailable anywhere else but online. Our focus is on well-made (and mostly American-made) goods that stand the test of time in terms of both quality and design.”

Drexler, in collaboration with Neal Shaffer, has designed, developed, photographed, produced, written, and organized everything you see and will continue to see from Confirmed Stock. This is our project from start to finish and we’re incredibly excited to launch it.

So, here’s where we ask something from you. Check out the site and video, sign up to receive a very limited number of emails, follow us on all the requisite social sites and most important, tell your friends. Our goal is to make Confirmed Stock into something amazing and we hope you’ll be along for the ride.

As lifelong Baltimore residents, we get excited about working with organizations that seek to improve the lives of people in our city. Additionally, we are always looking to help clients find creative solutions to their communication challenges. That’s why our partnership with The Family League of Baltimore City (FLBC) was a perfect fit.

This summer, we worked with FLBC and The Hatcher Group to build a strategy for communicating their mission, programs, and news to their current

and potential stakeholders through a new site. In addition to a new, fresh look, the site includes a content management system that allows FLBC to post news and success stories as they happen as well as update site functionality as needed.

Take a look at their site to see all of the great work FLBC is doing on a daily basis. We really love the stories of how FLBC has helped people in Baltimore. This one, in particular, is worth a read: Turning a Life Around: Darcy Leonard.

Eileen Quilts’ founder Lindsay Szchenyi came to us to develop a complete identity package and site to launch the business. To us, the look for Eileen Quilts needed to tap into the blue collar Americana vibe of their Roanoke, VA location.

The site also needed to showcase the beautiful quilts they make and give potential customers a sense for all of the care that goes into creating each quilt. While the site had to be professional, we also wanted it to showcase Lindsay’s personality and love for what she does.

After a more than 2-year hiatus, Outlet Baltimore officially returns next Friday. Even more exciting is the fact that it's coming to the Windup Space as part of Betascape 2011.

“honest drinks in good company.”

In 2009, we attended a number of Outlet Baltimore events, not knowing exactly what to expect, but really enjoying what we found. And what we found was a group of like-minded, interesting, friendly folks. Even then, there was a community forming around the basic, if unarticulated at the time, idea of “honest drinks in good company.”

Since the first series of Outlet Baltimore events, we’ve had the distinct privilege of working with Neal Shaffer of Slant Six Creative on a number of collaborative projects. So when Neal came to us with the idea of helping to organize Outlet Baltimore’s rebirth, we jumped at the chance.

That brings us to September 23, 2011. After a more than 2-year hiatus, Outlet Baltimore officially returns next Friday. Even more exciting is the fact that it’s coming to the Windup Space as part of Betascape 2011.

More answers to your questions around why we’re doing this and who should come can be found on the site. But the short answers are that we’re doing this because it’s needed. And if you’re a little sick of “networking” and would rather have a few drinks and interesting discussions with like-minded people, then you should come.

We hope to see you there.

So when Andy approached us about building him a new content-managed website, we were beyond stoked. Of course, Andy needed the site to look great and fit his aesthetic. That was a given. But beyond that, the site needed to be simple for Andy to update himself and show his new work without a lot of hassle.

Today is Sara's 1-month anniversary at Drexler. We're really glad to have her here and producing great work on a daily basis.

Sara Utz (yes, that Utz) is a junior graphic designer hailing from the small, ‘not-quite awesome’, town of Red Lion, PA. She graduated with high honors from York College of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design. While at York, she also minored in Art History and pursued extended studies in printmaking, photography, history, and writing.

Sara is an AIGA and Society of Design member whose work won first place at York College’s senior exhibition and was featured on HOWdesign.com. Her writing on design has been published by AIGA Baltimore and made her a MFA candidate at the School of Visual Arts.

Sara loves all things creative — from hand-drawn illustrations to screen-printing. She’s sharp-witted, ambitious, and meticulous. Her work reflects her personality and often takes a bold, clean approach. But more importantly, she is a self-proclaimed typography enthusiast, music fanatic, and grammar devotee. Outside of designing, Sara enjoys traveling, watching awful, but addictive reality TV shows, going to concerts, napping, and spending time with family and friends, of course.

Today is Sara’s 1-month anniversary at Drexler. We’re really glad to have her here and producing great work on a daily basis. So drop a comment and welcome her to our crew and to Baltimore (she officially moves this weekend).

Drexler is excited about the New Year for a variety of reasons. We are dreaming of a world of endless possibilities freshly illuminated by the hopes ushered in as one year ends and another begins. Ok, maybe that is slightly exaggerated, but we are thrilled to get to welcome “home” the newest member of our team, Chris Walbert. We have worked with Chris in various capacities in the past and have always admired his insight and the work he has done. We are excited about the capabilities he will add and the expanded services we will now be able to offer our clients. He will be handling various aspects of account management and business development including digital media, strategic marketing, content creation and SEM.

Chris has 9 years of professional experience and has worked with a variety of local and international clients including Medifast, Maryland Tourism, Erickson Retirement Communities, LifeBridge Health, Lufthansa, CMS Forex, and Bogner. He has also led the global marketing team for Blueliner, run the digital media division at Media Works, and had a brief stint as the interim VP of Marketing at Medifast.

We expect Chris to be pretty busy (he already has an intern/sidekick and hasn’t even officially started yet), but we are hoping to introduce you all to him throughout the New Year. If a few weeks go by and you have not gotten the chance to meet him, then by all means give us a call or shoot us an email. You do not want to miss this.
